The seniors did not hold back from having fun. There was so much laughter and the food was sooooo good. The seniors has a day full of enjoyment. But, that was all, the young adults came together that evening to continue the fun and game. What a day it was. Praise the Lord.

God is Good

The Five Mile Creek Festival was exciting. I appreciate all who came to help at our booth and those who worked behind the scene. Over $200 was raised, however our main point was to serve our community. It was a good day up until the storm came in at 1:30 p.m. The winds started blowing, tents were being turned upside down, paper, cups and all sorts of stuff flying through the air. All the power throughout the town was out. This shows me that no matter what is going on, God is still in control and when He speaks people move. Praise the Lord.

Today was a great day in the Lord. We give God the praise for a beautiful service. The morning started off with the ladies preparing breakfast for all the men. We welcome Keith, Christy and Chad Lyles to Tarrant. Today we accepted their (transfer) membership into the church. I know they will be a blessing to us. We thank the Lord for 70 in attendance.

We have 2 that are in camp this week. Praise the Lord.

Please keep Shirley and Herschell in your prayers as they travel to Mississippi in carrying Ed, Herschell's brother, back home.

Prayer Request:
Shirley will be having surgery June 30th.
Bro. Wynn is scheduled for surgery this Tuesday.
Continue to pray for Jimmy Hodges' back.
Coline Woodall is having a hard time breathing.

A Note from the pastor:

This is the month of sending our youth to camp. Our 9 teens came back excited and this week we have 2 that are in Senior Camp. We want to thank each one that had a part in helping to send the youth to camp. Visit campboothe.org and see the camp grounds.
The spirit of the Lord moved throughout the service today. The Adult Choir, led by Sister Wynn, did a beautiful job as they sung to the Lord.
Continue to pray for those who were in the altar this morning.
Preparation are being made for this Saturday as we join with the city of Tarrant in the "Five Mile Creek Festival".
Sister Patty is doing an outstanding job as she is leading our "Little Tikes". The kids are excited as they leave their classrooms. God bless you Sister Patty.
Remember "Disciples for Christ" every Wednesday starting at 6 p.m.

What a beautiful day it was at Tarrant. The youth were excited to be going to camp. We have 9 (ages 15-19) attending Collegiate Camp this week. The morning service was a fresh anointing from the Lord. Special singing by Patty Parsley and Frank Cornelius. Follow by the message which was titled "A Desire for a Better Country". Hebrews 11:16.
Tonight was "Sing Unto the Lord" and the men just out did themselves. Out of the singing was formed an adult choir, who will be singing this coming Sunday. What a blessing it was to hear praises going up to the Lord in song.
Everyone is getting excited about "Five Mile Creek Festival". Get more details from Sister Judy.
