Honoring our Kids

Today we honored all our youth. Each one was recognized for their achievement for the school year. We are very proud of Deanna Spencer who graduated from Fultondale High and Sade Washington who graduated from Carver High.

Deanna Spencer was awarded the "Camp Boothe Scholarship". This scholarship is awarded to a youth for their tuition to go to camp.

We have 9 youth going to Camp Boothe this year. Go youth Go.

Wednesday Night Service

What an awesome service. The singing was as beautiful. The message was outstanding. But, after we dismissd from the service, a young man came to me and wanted to be saved. Praise the Lord. He told me he had never been saved before and did not know what to do. After discipling with him, he accepted the Lord into his heart. To God be the glory.

Ladies...we will be leaving the church 3:30 p.m. Friday for Ladies Retreat.

Men's choir will be singing Sunday Morning.

God is good all the time, All the time God is good.

Happy Mother's Day

What a beautiful day in the Lord it was. As the people arrived they were excited about it being "Mother's Day". We appreciate all our Mothers. Bro. Joe and Sis. Jean Wideman did an outstanding job putting the Mother's Day propram together. God Bless all our moms.

The project for the bathroom downstairs is moving now at a fast pace. We should be starting the program in the next couple of weeks. Thanks to everyone for their dedication in making this project a success.

Continue to remember the tornado victims in prayers.
