Sunday Morning
Today was a beautiful day in the Lord. Tarrant was blessed to have Kevin, Katrina and Andrew Lyles, from Alton to be with us. Kevin is in his internship program at Alton serving under the leadership of Bishop James Wallace. Kevin who is Robert and Pastor Judy's son, brought the morning message. We're looking forward to having Kevin and his family back with us again in the future.

Bro. Robertson i
Please pray for Bishop W.E. Robertson. He was admitted into Saint Vincent's East last night. Bro. Robertson's horse and his nephew horse was fighting. Bro. Robertson jumped onto his 4 wheeler and rushed to break the fight up. As he was trying to stop the fight, the rope around his horse got tangled around his feet and cause his to fall and hit his head on a slab of cement. It was God looking out after him, for the horse started jumping up and down and his hoofs were coming down all around his head. He could have been killed, but God's hand was upon him.
Bro. Robertson has a conclusion and had 6 stitches put in his head. There for a time he could not remember anything and could not put his words together. But he's doing o.k. now. He is in SICU and may be put into a room today.
Continue to pray for him and Sister Robertson.

Even tho several people were out due to sickness, God still filled the house with His presence. In Sunday School, the youth enjoyed a pancake breakfast. Bro. David did an outstanding job in leading the congregation in several songs from way back. Sis. Judy challenged all to AWAKE, ARISE and ACCEPT the call. Let us move forward for the Lord.

Sorry that I'm late posting Sunday's update. I have been busy getting my father settled in his home. He is now home from the hospital, but he's going to have to have home care around the clock. Please continue to keep him in your prayers.
Sunday was outstanding. It started with the Sunday morning service all the way through Sunday night. Sandy and Clarence Cagle, from Hartselle, were with us Sunday night and her singing always blesses the people. All ages participated in the singing. The Woodall family was the one with the most family members and the reward was to lead the congregation in a song. They did an amazing job leading "Amazing Grace". The service was filled with laughter and praise to the Father. Bro. Moxley, from Alton, shared the poem "Jonah and the Whale", but the highlight was when he told a story about Herschell Galbreath whe he was a little boy. The laughter just roared. It is so true laughter is the best medicine.
Love and Prayers to everyone.
