Thank you for your kind words, your love and most of all, thank you for your prayers. As I was telling Sister Coline, on the spiritual side "I'm rejoicing", but on the physical side "I'm heart broken". My dad is not suffering anymore, he has received his healing. Praise the Lord. Continue to pray for my mom she will need your prayers in the upcoming days.
Love and prayers, Pastor Judy

Passing of Pastor Judy's dad
It was a sad, but a beautiful homegoing. We were sitting around his bed singing "When We All Get to Heaven", "Victory in Jesus", "When the Saints Go Marching In" and we were about to read from the Bible when my mother said look he's got his eyes open and I said yes, but he's not looking at us and then he took one more breath and went to be with the Lord. I thank the Lord for my dad 85 years here on this earth, but Praise the Lord for the eternal life he has now.

God has been so good to us at Tarrant. We had a wonderful prayer service Saturday as we prayed for our local church and community.
Sunday was a beautiful day in the Lord. Several were out due to vacation, sickness and other reason, but Praise the Lord, God is never on vacation, never sick He's always present, always loving and always ready to show up as His children sing praises to His name. We were blessed as Patti, Frank and Ligaya blessed us with their singing to the Lord.
Last night as we gathered to share what was done during the month concerning the different ministries, I was impressed with how the different ministry reached out to our church and community. Several phone calls were made, card sent out, visitation was great and one lady fix supper for a couple of families. The outreach ministry gave out 200 free snow cones on a hot Saturday day.
Everyone is getting excited about August the 21st. Tarrant COGOP will be 50 years old. A celebration is in planning for that day at 2 p.m. Make plans now to be a part of this great day.
See Sister Judy for details on what you can do to help in getting the church ready.

Update on Shirley Galbreath
Shirley came through the surgery like a champ. Although, after the surgery she had a reaction to some medication and had to stay overnight. She came home today and is doing well. The doctor said it would take about 6 weeks for her to completely heal. Continue to keep Shirley and Herschell in your prayers.
