Weekend at Tarrant

Saturday evening the Youth enjoyed an "Outdoor Concert". Our very own youth did and outstanding job singing to the 100 or so people as they came to enjoy the singing. Hotdogs and cupcakes were given away as we ministered to our community through song, face painting, decorating paper pumpkins. To God be the glory.
As we gathered this morning for Sunday School and Worship the blessings of the Lord started flowing among His children. The Lord was truly in the house.
At 3:30 p.m. we gathered at Alton COGOP to baptize Bro. Bates and Andy McBrayer. What a joy it was to baptize these two men of God. Bro. Bates is 90 years old and this was his first time to be baptized. He was so excited that as he was climbing up the steps out of the baptismal he said "Praise the Lord".
I give God the praise and glory for a glorious week-end.

God Is Sooooo Gooooood

Yesterday was an awesome day. The day started out with Sunday School and then everyone gathered upstairs for the 4th (before the 5th) Sunday singing. We were blessed for an hour & a half with beautiful singing unto the Lord. We want to thank (Rita, Cindy & Shirley) for preparing a delicious lunch for the 72 people in attendance. The food was g-r-e-a-t. No restaurant food in town could have tasted any better.
We want to welcome Larry and Linda Harper to the Tarrant family congregation. God bless you.
Remember Saturday evening at 5 p.m. "Outdoor Concert" featuring our very own talent.
Free hot dogs, cokes and cup cakes.

Revival

The revival was awesome. Bro. & Sis. Odell Green blessed our hearts and souls as they poured themselves out to the Lord as they ministered to the people at Tarrant. Each night was filled with beautiful music and the anointing was upon each of them as they brought the Word. Last night the altar was filled with people seeking the Lord. But, as we started to dismiss, David Hodges stood to testify that he needed more and as the saints began to pray with him, he was filled witht he Holy Ghost with the evidence of speaking in tongues. What a way to end the revival with the Green Family, but the revival will always be in our hearts. To God be the glory.
