August 3rd is dinner sale.  The proceeds will be going toward the ceiling.

Next step...installing of the new ceiling in the fellowship hall and then new flooring will be put down.

What an excited day it was as I walked into the fellowship hall and seen the ladies preparing for their Bible Study.  We are now beginning to study 'Leviticus'.  It is a blessing to hear the comments and the questions that rises as we read verse by verse.  Sometimes we laugh, sometimes we raise an eyebrow, but overall we enjoy one another's love and fellowship.  God is truly good.  I invited everyone to come and be a part of our Tuesday Morning Bible Study at 9:30 a.m.

Mother's Day

What a week-end.  We had 8 men to attend the Men's Retreat at Camp Boothe.  Christy Lyles did an outstanding job in recognizing our mothers. We honored Rebecca Atchinson as being the youngest mother, Gladys Echols as the oldest mother, and Shirley Galbreath as the one with the most family members.  We want to wish all mothers a Happy Mother's Day.  God bless you all.

SUNDAY AM & PM SERVICES

We were blessed today with the singing of Jonathan David.  Not only was he a good singer, but his songs were like a message being preached through singing.  The spirit ministered throughout the sanctuary as he  sung unto the Lord.  We welcomed the membership of Renay Hallmark into our church family.
Tonight 10 of our people attended the Awaken Tour "Believe".  Tim Beck and his team did an outstanding job as they ministered to an almost packed house.  Just about all the churches in the area was well represented.  My heart was overjoyed as I looked around and saw Andy moving about in the altar praying for people.  On the way home we stopped at MacDonald's and enjoyed a delicious cone of ice cream.

Exciting Week-end

What an exciting week-end. It started off with a baby shower for Shirley and Herschell Galbreath's granddaughter 'Candance'. The fellowship hall was beautiful and decorated in blue. The baby is due June 10th.
Saturday evening Robert, myself, Andy and Robert attended a youth revival to one of the local churches in Tarrant. Had a great time in the Lord.
Sunday morning's attendance was down a little compared to last week-end, but there was nothing short about the glory of God. It is so good to know that God always shows up. The Men's ministry was awesome and after the service, everyone enjoyed the refreshments left over from the baby shower. yum, yum.
Looking forward to next Sunday. Jonathan David will be our guest singer for the morning. Come and enjoy a day of worship.
