Praise the Lord for all the things He is doing. Excitement was flowing in the air, several people testified to the goodness that God was and is doing in their life and their family's life. It was good to have Sis. Motes, Ramona Cole and Jami Reno with us this morning. Praise the Lord for 60 in attendance.

Things are moving right along. Glen Willis came by the church yesterday and repaired the blocks underneath the columns on the front porch and reinforced the left hand rail.
Sister Betty Sweat went home yesterday. She will be having test the first part of next week and Debbie, her daughter, asked that we pray that her body does not collect fluid over the week-end.
Have a blessed day.

Praise the Lord, Praise the Lord, what an awesome God we serve. Today was filled with excitement as 78 people gathered to join in the singing and praising the Lord. The ladies prepared a beautiful luncheon with spaghetti, a garden salad and desserts, desserts and desserts. The church celebrated Bro. Robert and Sis. Judy's birthday by presenting them with gifts and a GIANT birthday cake. Also, today all funds went to the building fund and we give God the praise for $531.07.
Remember Pat Moman, Sister Billie's daughter, who is having back surgery Monday. Continue to pray for Sister Betty Sweat.
Saturday night, a total of 24 in attendance, went to Hydrate '08 at McAdory and had a blast.
Everyone was blessed as Gate 29, Short T, Matt Denard and Tim Beck shared the gospel. Thank you guys for going that extra mile for the Youth of Today.

Last night Bro. Robertson led the group of 18 in attendance in an awesome Bible study.
We were blessed to have Kevin Lyles, from Trinity Worship, David and Annette Hodges and Frances, Annette sister, joined us for the study. This is like no other Bible study I have ever attended, the spirit of the Lord moves among His children as they dig into the treasure of the Bible. Everyone left the church wanting more of God's Word. To God Be The Glory.
Everyone is invited to attend, the study will continue in Matthew 21.

Sunday Morning Worship

What a power pack service, from the moment the doors were open, the greeters as they were handing out the bulletins were praying for different people needs. Sis. Patty ushered the congregation of 63 into the presence of the Lord with songs like, I Feel Like Traveling On, Jesus Hold My Hand and Where Could I Go But To The Lord and then Daniel led the youth in a wonderful song, "Show Me Your Glory. The Lord continued to pour out His anointing as Sis. Judy preached about "Let's Be Among the Faithful Few". Continue to worship and praise God as we move forward for the Lord.

We were happy to have Sandy & Clarence Cagle, from Hartselle, to be with us in our evening service. Sandy blessed us with 2 beautiful songs. We look forward to them visiting with us again.

Finance Meeting Sunday at 4 p.m.

Keep in mind that God "has saved us and called us with a holy calling, not according to our works, but according to His own purpose and grace which was given to us in Christ Jesus before time began" 2 Timothy 1:9.
May we never forget that God has an important purpose for our life and that it is good.
