The Five Mile Creek Festival was exciting. I appreciate all who came to help at our booth and those who worked behind the scene. Over $200 was raised, however our main point was to serve our community. It was a good day up until the storm came in at 1:30 p.m. The winds started blowing, tents were being turned upside down, paper, cups and all sorts of stuff flying through the air. All the power throughout the town was out. This shows me that no matter what is going on, God is still in control and when He speaks people move. Praise the Lord.
Today was a great day in the Lord. We give God the praise for a beautiful service. The morning started off with the ladies preparing breakfast for all the men. We welcome Keith, Christy and Chad Lyles to Tarrant. Today we accepted their (transfer) membership into the church. I know they will be a blessing to us. We thank the Lord for 70 in attendance.
We have 2 that are in camp this week. Praise the Lord.
Please keep Shirley and Herschell in your prayers as they travel to Mississippi in carrying Ed, Herschell's brother, back home.
