Everyone was excited about being back in church since the weather had prevented us from having service last week-end. Several were out due to the flu. Sister White is still having a hard time with her hip, Bro. Robertson recuperating from surgery, Bro. Benefield is now home from the hospital, Bro. Frank has a blood clot in his leg, Sis. Patty's asthma acting up. If there ever was a time to pray for healing ... it is now.
The finance committee met to cover the year end financial report. What a good year we had, God is so good to bring a plan together. As we looked back, a new handicapped ramp was built, remodeling of the storage room, new tables for the Sunday School classes, new catering warmers to keep the food warm on our Sunday dinners and so much more. To God be the glory.
Starting the new year off with a big bang, plans are being made to install a restroom downstairs.
Sunday night we brought the New Year in with Singing Unto the Lord. Everyone were blessed as everyone took part in song.
